How did I get here?

Oh ya...I was an anxious high schooler about to meet up with my blind date at the mall (a college guy, gasp!) Eight packed years later, we're married, he works at the firehall down the block and I've just taken leave from my career as a writer to try out a new job - becoming Mom to beautiful Isla Noelle! Welcome to a sliver of my world...full of (amateur) decor, style, clean cooking and all the things I love. Hope you stay awhile.
